Dr. Hutchins earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. Upon graduation, he was employed by Southwestern Eye Center where he focused on comprehensive medical eye care, conducting pre/post surgical exams, treating eye injuries, ocular disease & fitting contact lenses for athletes in the community as a member of the Sports Medicine Advisory Team for Eastern Arizona College.

 

He continues his passion for human performance helping military, youth and professional athletes gain a competitive edge with sports vision training.

 

Dr. Hutchins has been privileged to provide Sports Vision Evaluations for major league baseball players at Spring Training 2017, 2018, and 2019. and is focused on post- concussion research relating to prevention and rehabilitation.
